J. Domenic Martini
Bio

Domenic was raised in Memphis, Tennessee - a town known as "Grind City" for its blue-collar work ethic. As an attorney, Domenic applies the same hard work and diligence instilled by his hometown.

Domenic obtained a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Memphis and worked on Congressional campaigns during college. He worked as a Field organizer for the successful campaign of Congressman Steve Cohen, organizing the get out the vote efforts. Feeling the need to get a broader perspective of America, he moved across country to attend the University of San Diego School of Law.

While in law school, Domenic competed in Vienna, Austria, as part of the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (VICAM) team and served as the team's Editor-in-Chief of its written competition briefs. He was a member of the San Diego International Law Journal, editing scholarly articles dealing with international law. Domenic also volunteered at the USD Appellate Clinic-a pro bono clinic that represents asylum applicants in front of the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. As a 2nd year law student, Domenic began his career at Thorsnes Bartolotta McGuire as a law clerk.

Domenic has written two published articles: "International Regulatory Entrepreneurship: Uber's Battle with Regulators in France" in the San Diego International Law Journal, and "Scrutinizing Expert Witness Testimony" in the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego's Trial Bar News.

Domenic is an avid Memphis sports fan and enjoys hiking, biking, and rock climbing. He also grew up in the Memphis music scene and is guitar player and songwriter. Staying close to his cultural roots, he lives in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood.
