The airbags in certain Honda Accord,
Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan,
and other 2008-2010 vehicles
are dangerous and defective.
If you received an airbag/SRS recall notice, you may be entitled to receive money for your inconvenience and the decreased value of your vehicle—even if you have not experienced a problem with the airbag’s performance.
Airbags in over 500,000 vehicles have a defect that causes them to either not deploy in a serious crash or to randomly deploy when there is no impact. Both of these situations are very dangerous to drivers and passengers. These airbags can be found in many vehicles including:
- Honda Accord
- Chrysler Town & Country
- Dodge Caravan
- Mercedes C
- Mercedes GLK
- Audi A4, A5, and Q5
- Volkswagen Routan
A recall notice has been issued for some of these vehicles but, in many cases, the manufacturer does not have the parts available to fix the problem. Owners are being told to wait for months until parts come in and, while they wait, to not let people sit in the passenger seat. Even if the vehicles are fixed immediately, their value can decrease as a result of the defect.
We believe owners of these vehicles should receive compensation for these problems. Our firm is pursuing a lawsuit to recover this compensation in addition to any fixes the manufactures are offering.
To find out if you are eligible to participate in our case†, please provide the information below. We will not share your contact information with anyone.
†Please note that our firm is pursuing a case that involves only certain models of vehicles. There are other models of vehicles that are also subject to airbag/SRS recalls. Your vehicle may have a defective airbag/SRS system even if it does not appear on the list above. For more information regarding airbag recalls, please visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (“NHTSA”) website or contact your vehicle’s manufacturer or dealer. Please understand that merely submitting the information requested does not make you a client of our firm.
